Joseph R. Biden is the 46th President of the United States of America. Kamala D. Harris is his Vice-President. Together they serve as the headliners of the Biden-Harris Administration. However, as evidenced by a recent press-conference, the President referred to several information cards while taking questions. Could someone be actually be running the Office of the President from behind the curtain?
I want you to meet two people: One is practically a household name. The other is seldom seen by the public. The latter is Ronald A. Klain, President Biden’s Chief of Staff. Mr. Klain has extensive experience in Washington D.C. Ronald is an attorney/consultant/lobbyist who was previously chief of staff for two Vice Presidents, Al Gore and Mr. Biden. The White House Chief of Staff is THE senior advisor to the President.
Mr. Biden’s recent public appearances have been fraught with minor gaffes and concerns about the President’s wellbeing. Many believe that Ms. Harris is warming-up in the batter’s box should Joe Biden be unable to continue as the focal point. That may be true, but she will just extend the illusion. Mr. Klain is front & center in this administration, not Kamala. However, he is not the only one.
Susan E. Rice is an highly experienced policy advisor who is officially serving as Director of the United States Domestic Policy Council. The D.C. born Rice was once considered to succeed Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State in 2012. Ms. Rice withdrew from consideration when she nearly became a household name during the controversy surrounding the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Benghazi. Susan Rice was also named as a possible nominee as Biden’s running mate during his presidential campaign.
Mr. Klain & Ms. Rice are the people who actually run the show from the White House. Both are highly competent, experienced individuals that are in significant, non-elected positions in the Biden-Harris Administration. Translation: Ron & Susan are the leaders who are actually pulling the strings in the Oval Office.
